Just 6km from Morzine in the Portes du Soleil our catered chalet situated in St Jean d'Aulps is ideal for skiing or walking.
The Portes du Soleil is one of the biggest ski regions in the world with 12 resorts linking France and Switzerland together. These include Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets which is on our doorstep, Chatel, Crosets and Morgins are others to name a few. There are 212 lifts covering 650km of piste, only 1 lift pass is required.
Winter activities are abundant this side of the valley, here are a few of the obvious ones and the not so obvious, What do you want to do
today?
Skiing and Snowboarding - The Portes du Soleil hosts over 650km of piste all linked together, only one ski pass is required. Where do you start?
Ardent - 12 min drive away - This is linked to the Portes du Soleil and is the fast track into the heart of the resort. Avoriaz, Morzine, Chatel and Switzerland are easily accessed from this point. This is the chosen destination of experienced skiers. Ski schools also offer lessons from Les Linderetts (top of the telecabin).
Morzine - 10 min drive away, linked to Portes du Soleil - The Plenny offers easy access to Les Gets and Les Prodains brings you to Avoriaz. Ski-schools operate from both points.
Grande Terche, St Jean d'Aulps our local slope - 2min drive away, 15minutes walk. This is not linked to the Portes du Soleil but has over 35km of piste (green, blue and red).
Excellent for beginners and parents who are happy to let their children go off and do their own thing. This resort is popular with the locals and French tourists and out of the French holiday period can be quite. Ski passes and lessons are cheaper here.

Our transport prices include airport and piste transfers. We will also be happy to offer you transfers to different activities if prior notice is given and if it does not interfere with our piste and airport transfers.
